If sources are to be believed, Naga Chaitanya might play the lead in the Telugu remake of Aamir Khan’s recent production Delhi Belly. Director Kannan has acquired the remake rights long back and had an idea of roping in Simbhu for Tamil remake who was later been replaced by other young actor Jayam Ravi for unknown reasons.

The buzz started that Kannan has approached Naga Chaitanya for the Telugu version. Though there hasn’t been any confirmation either from the director or Naga Chaitanya, the gossip has caused enough interest since it was slapstick comedy that turned out as a surprising hit in Bollywood by collecting a sum of Rs 92 crore at the box-office worldwide.
